Attention all Hackers & Picnic goers,

       It is time for our 20th annual VP-93 Golf Scramble and picnic at our beloved Selfridge Golf Course.  All Executioners, friends, families and "extended" families are welcome.  There will be a prize for first place, and prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin.  We will repeat the "Double Down" option on the second hole par 3 and the putting contest at the turn (when you get your hotdogs and beer), with a prize for closest to the hole.  Here are the details for the golf scramble:

 

****NOTE FOR GOLFERS:  THIS YEAR, YOU WILL BE PAYING $65 FOR THE GOLF OUTING AT CHECK-IN, AND IF YOU INTEND ON GOING TO THE PICNIC, YOU WILL PAY $15 AT THE MUSEUM GATE.

                          TIME:          0900 check-in; 1000 shotgun start

                          COST:          $65 Per golfer  

                                              (payable at check-in)        

 

    The cost includes:  Continental breakfast, green fees, golf cart, beer/soda/water; prizes; sleeve of golf balls; tees and balls for the practice range; hot dog or brat, beverage & chips at the turn.

PICNIC:     If you bring a dish to pass, you will only be required to pay pay $10 at the gate.  Here is a list of the fare that will be provided by VP-93:

Soda Pop and Water

NON DOD ID CARD HOLDERS – IMPORTANT NOTICE IF YOU WILL BE DRIVING THROUGH THE GATE.

 
Your names will be on the list at the Main Gate, however, you must provide me your name exactly as it appears on your driver's license, your driver’s license number and issuing state and your birthday. Be ready to provide your vehicle registration and proof of insurance for the vehicle as you approach the gate.  Everyone in the vehicle must provide their Driver's license or ID.

 

I must receive this information NLT 24 July to have you vetted by base security by the day of the “Open.” It’s a “pain” but it’s what we have to deal with. L
